Job Summary:
As General Manager, you’ll lead the RoTeam in delivering incredible experiences—both for our guests and our team—through exceptional food and hospitality. Your mission is to build a culture of genuine hospitality where every team member is inspired to say, “Let’s do this!”

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team, developing future leaders within the organization. Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth by leading with enthusiasm and purpose.
- Guest Experience – Ensure every guest receives exceptional service across dine-in, digital, and catering channels. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by setting high standards for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence – Maintain a strong and visible presence in the restaurant, supporting and coaching team members to execute daily operations efficiently and effectively.
- Food Quality & Safety – Uphold Rōti’s commitment to fresh, flavorful food by ensuring all menu items are prepared with care and meet quality standards. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and OSHA requirements.
- Facility & Equipment Management – Ensure the restaurant remains clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with all local health and safety regulations. Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Financial & Business Performance – Manage restaurant P&L, budgeting, and cost control strategies to drive profitability while maintaining quality and service standards. Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and operational efficiency.
- Marketing & Sales Growth – Implement local marketing initiatives and promotional strategies to drive sales, build brand awareness, and engage the community.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to all labor laws, fire safety regulations, health department requirements, and other local compliance standards.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution – Address and resolve guest concerns, employee relations issues, and operational challenges with professionalism and urgency.
- Other Duties as Assigned – Adapt to the evolving needs of the business and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk for an entire shift (50.0 hours / week) . Our General Managers are constantly moving to ensure quality customer service for all our guests.
- Must be able to bend and reach overhead often, possess dexterity to handle cooking equipment, and work in kitchen temperatures ranging from hot to cold.
- Must be able to squat, lift, and push up to 50 lbs.
