Position Overview
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to members and guests while upholding the Edgeworth Club’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and consistency. This role supports daily bar operations, event service, product knowledge, and the overall member experience in all dining and social spaces.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Member Service & Hospitality
- Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all members and guests.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to Club standards.
- Engage members in a friendly, welcoming manner while maintaining appropriate professionalism.
- Anticipate member needs and ensure a high‑quality, personalized experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished bar environment at all times.
Beverage Preparation & Product Knowledge
- Mix, garnish, and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages with accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, wine varietals, beer selections, and seasonal offerings.
- Provide recommendations based on member preferences.
- Ensure proper portion control and adherence to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Operational Responsibilities
- Set up and break down bar areas for daily service, events, and private functions.
- Restock bar inventory, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar equipment, tools, and workstations.
- Follow all cash handling and point‑of‑sale procedures accurately.
- Assist with beverage requisitions and inventory counts as directed.
Event & Dining Room Support
- Provide bartending services for Club events, banquets, and private parties.
- Coordinate with servers, banquet staff, and managers to ensure seamless event execution.
- Support dining room operations as needed, including running drinks or assisting with service flow.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all state and Club policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Maintain all required certifications (RAMP, ServSafe, or equivalent).
- Professional Standards
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Maintain a polished appearance in accordance with Club dress code.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with members, guests, and colleagues.
- Uphold the Edgeworth Club’s values of hospitality, teamwork, and member‑first service.
Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience in a private club, hotel, or upscale dining environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining composure and accuracy.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 40 pounds, including cases of beverages, kegs, and supplies.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in varying environments, including warm kitchen areas or cooler storage spaces.
- Ability to operate bar equipment, glass washers, and point‑of‑sale systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and over background noise.

Salary: $17-20 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
Full Time & Part Time Positions Available
Daily Meal Provided
Full Time employees will be eligible for Benefits after 90 days, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, HSA, IRA matching 3% after one year.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
