Minimum Qualifications
Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
- Must be able to read and write
- Follow instructions with a positive attitude
- Experience a plus, but not necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to provide dining service to elderly that meet or exceed hospitality and service standards.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Residents, guests, employees and supervisors.
- Able to work on Holidays and for pre-planned special events.
Position Summary
Provide food and try delivery to the assisted living and/or skilled care center, carrying out the “Living in Style” program. Responsible for set-up and cleaning of dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Responsible for timely meal delivery and plate preparation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide dining service to Residents, guests and family members as needed.
- Prepare trays and serve food according to menus and following therapeutic diet orders.
- Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Responsible for keeping work areas clean and maintaining sanitary conditions.
- Attend all in-services as required.
- Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Actively incorporate Pinnacle Standards into everyday performance.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.
