Position Description

Minimum Qualifications

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
• Must be able to read and write
• Follow instructions with a positive attitude
• Experience a plus, but not necessary

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Able to provide dining service to elderly that meet or exceed hospitality and service standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Residents, guests, employees and supervisors.
• Able to work on Holidays and for pre-planned special events.

Position Summary

            Provide food and try delivery to the assisted living and/or skilled care center, carrying out the “Living in Style” program.   Responsible for set-up and cleaning of dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.   Responsible for timely meal delivery and plate preparation.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide dining service to Residents, guests and family members as needed.
2. Prepare trays and serve food according to menus and following therapeutic diet orders.
3. Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
4. Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
5. Responsible for keeping work areas clean and maintaining sanitary conditions.
6. Attend all in-services as required.
7. Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
8. Actively incorporate Pinnacle Standards into everyday performance.

1. Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.
