What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acquisition Analyst position at Edgewood REIT?
EP Management, Inc., a Fargo, ND based private real estate investment company is seeking to hire a Fargo-based, Acquisition Analyst in an Entry Level position.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and growing company with a substantial presence throughout the Central United States. The role is highly visible, both internally and externally, requiring skills and experience in leadership and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Work with other Analyst and VP of Acquisitions to target acquisition opportunities in the multi-family and net lease office sectors.
- Conduct proficient market research and underwriting of potential property acquisitions.
- Present market/property finding to investment committee and provide input and knowledge while navigating and spearheading potential acquisitions.
- Interfaces with brokers, partners, and other transaction counterparties throughout the acquisition process.
- Manage databases and input information, data, and records.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects/properties simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner.
- Create memos and investment committee materials for prospective/pending acquisitions
- Assist with Acquisitions deal flow and managing a deal from prospecting to close.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Knowledge / Skill Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in finance, real estate, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Candidate must be a team player, self-starter, and coachable.
- Understanding of Real Estate Fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate well and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Strong relationship building skills.
