Per Diem/Every other weekend Receptionist

Look no further! We are Edgewood Center for Rehab & Healthcare and we are currently in search of a Per diem/ every other Weekend Receptionist to join our amazing team! The Edgewood Center, a member of Greentree Healthcare, is actively trying to add to a strong & dedicated team.

Positions Summary:

Operates switchboard and paging system.

Receives and screens visitors, guests, sales representatives and others who may visit the organization and directs them to the proper person.

Informs visitors of the visiting rules and regulations and may advise the supervisor in charge of individuals whom they feel should not enter due to their age, condition or other factors involved.

Maintains current reference of resident by name and room number, list of emergency phone numbers, list of department extensions with names of key personnel and their extension number.

Handles typing and filing of correspondence and outgoing mail for the various departments as needed. Handles mail delivery to residents and staff.

Types daily census information and distributes to department heads.

Completes administrative tasks as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma preferred.

Computer literacy required.

Previous experience management switchboard/phone system preferred.

Must be able to effectively communicate with older adults in a manner that conveys warmth and professionalism
