We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks during busy service periods.
- Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring timely cleaning of service items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Previous experience in food service or hotel catering is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is a plus.
