Edgestone Hospitality Staffing is hiring experienced Cooks to work in hotel and resort kitchens in the Waltham, MA area. Opportunities are available in hotel restaurants, breakfast service, and banquet operations, with flexible scheduling and the potential for long-term placement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items for restaurant, breakfast, and banquet service
- Work an assigned station during meal service
- Complete daily prep work, including proteins, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards
- Maintain food safety, temperature, labeling, and food rotation procedures
- Keep workstations, coolers, and kitchen equipment clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff throughout service
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, or high-volume kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ServSafe certification or state food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
