Warehouse Operator
Location: Exeter, NH
Schedule:
- Full Time
- 2nd Shift Monday – Friday, 11:00am - 8:00pm (Altnerating Saturday work)
Pay: $19-21/hour
Environment: Cold Storage Facility (Cooler: 34–35°F | Freezer: -10°F)
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team in Exeter, NH. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations within a cold storage environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory control, with the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform order picking and packing using RF scanners to ensure order accuracy.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in stock rotation using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Provide support and leadership as needed to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- 2 years of warehouse experience required.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks highly preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and OSHA safety regulations.
- Comfortable working in a cold storage environment (cooler and freezer).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
