Machine Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn a hands-on trade—no mechanical background required. We will provide full training on how to operate extrusion equipment and use basic measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up extrusion jobs following provided specifications
• Operate the extruder safely and efficiently throughout the workday
• Use handheld measuring devices (such as calipers or micrometers) to ensure parts meet required dimensions
• Monitor production quality and record measurements as needed
• Pack, label, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all company safety guidelines and production procedures

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read and speak English
• Willingness and ability to learn to read job specifications and measurement documentation
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday
• Overtime: Occasional, based on production needs
• Starting Rate: $18/hr (higher starting pay possible for candidates with additional relevant skills)
