At Edges, our Project teams are an integral part of our supply chain process. Lighting Projects teams ensure that every detail, from order input to delivery. Our project teams are the critical link coordinating fulfilment and material delivery on time and on budget. They work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors, ensuring all integral parts of our fulfillment process work seamlessly.
The Lighting Coordinator Intern is often the first contact for customers submitting orders to Edges. This role will be trained and is responsible for providing support to the Lighting Department, including completing all lighting submittals, resubmittals and Operations and Maintenance Instructions (O&Ms).This role also monitors emails and routes bid requests to appropriate team member.
In addition, the Lighting Coordinator Intern:
- Creates submittal packages.
- Revises submittal packages before a job is released.
- Creates Operations and Maintenance Instructions (“O&Ms”).
- Assists with quote requests as needed.
- Assists with updating Shipping Status Reports and sending to customer as requested.
- Completes other tasks as necessary to support the workflow of the projects team.
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
- Ability to commit to duration of internship ( approx June 15th-August 15th, 2026)
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies (software and hardware necessary to complete tasks)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Flexible and adaptable to feedback; we want you to feel comfortable giving, receiving, and applying feedback!
Interns will be assigned a Mentor, who will provide training, daily feedback and support to ensure your experience is a positive one! The mentor will also be responsible for providing feedback to the Lighting Projects' management team of the interns’ performance, attendance, and communication for the duration of the internship. Interns who successfully complete program with success may be considered for part-time or full-time employment with Edges.
Salary : $19 - $20
