Position – Activities Aide
Location: Edgerton Care Center – Edgerton, WI (On-site)
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday (No weekends)

Job Summary:
Responsible to meet the social, spiritual, and therapeutic needs of the residents through activities, programming and continued interaction with community groups.

16.00 to 18.76 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
1. Interviews resident to complete Initial and Annual Assessments
2. Facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents
3. Performs one on one interaction to enhance quality of life
4. Implements Plan of Care
5. Plans own programs for monthly calendar
6. Enable residents to maximize their potential in activity participation through adaption, clues, /prompts
and grading.
7. Documents quarterly and annual progress notes into Matrix.

Qualifications:
Required:

Sixteen years of age
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Strong desire to work with the elderly
-
Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

Knowledgeable with planning, developing and implementing resident crafts.

Well-developed organizational skills.

Valid WI Driver's License
