Description
Job Summary:
The BDR (Business Development Representative) plays a key role in generating new business opportunities and supporting the company’s growth in the video surveillance and security industry. This is an Entry Level position and is perfect for an applicant who needs after college or fill in employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Conduct professional, engaging outreach via cold calling, email, and other channels.
- Actively listen to customer concerns and set up appointments with our Sales Team.
- Maintain regular contact with clients throughout the sales process to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Documentation & CRM Management
- Enter and update all customer data, proposals, communications, and notes in Zoho CRM.
- Maintain organized digital records of communications, correspondence, and account activity.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on leads and meetings set.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong phone presence and proven ability to make multiple daily calls.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with G-Suite and CRM systems (Zoho preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in video surveillance, security systems, or low-voltage industries.
- Knowledge of networking or technical product sales.
- Prior experience in a cold-calling environment.
