16U Travel Edge Baseball Coach – Now Hiring
Edge Baseball is a player-development–driven organization committed to teaching the game the right way—through fundamentals, repetition, and intentional progression. We believe baseball should be challenging and fun, and that long-term development matters more than short-term results.
Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, motivated, and passionate coach to lead our 16U travel baseball team for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead structured, high-energy practices
- Develop athletes’ skills, fundamentals, and baseball IQ
- Build a positive, competitive, and growth-focused team culture
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, players, and club organizers
- Coach and manage the team during weekend tournaments
Schedule & Commitment
- Practices begin in February- March
- Wednesdays: 5:00-7:30 PM
Sundays: 10:30 AM- 1:30 PM
Practices pick back up in Beginning of June- July
- Wednesdays: 7:00-9 PM
- Tournaments begin in June
- Weekend tournaments with travel - Hotels are reimbursed
- Total hours vary based on tournaments- Average 20 hours per month in the spring and 35 hours in the summer
- Team roster of 10–12 players
- Facility Location : 403 Venture Court Verona
Outdoor Practice Facility: TBD, Madison Area
Ideal Candidate
- Strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and game strategy
- Passion for working with youth athletes and player development
- Organized, dependable, and capable of managing team responsibilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred
This role is ideal for someone who loves baseball, values development, and wants to make a lasting impact on young athletes in a competitive travel baseball environment.
