Now Hiring: Part-Time Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pelham
Edgar's Bakery is looking for a dependable, hands-on part-time driver for our Pelham commissary. This is a physical job. You'll help get product ready at the commissary, load it out, drive your route, unload at each stop, and work alongside our store teams to get everything put away right. It's a regular part-time route running Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Schedule
Regular schedule: part-time, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Holiday season (mid-November through Christmas): this is our busiest stretch. During this window you'll need to be available up to 5 days a week, including some Saturdays.
Most routes start between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM depending on the season and run 8 to 10 hours. December runs longer.
What the Job Looks Like
Pitch in at the Pelham commissary to help get orders staged and ready to go.
Load out your truck, a 24-foot box truck with a lift gate.
Run your route to Edgar's stores, unload at each stop, and work with the store team to put product away the right way.
Stay on top of your own paperwork: delivery logs, mileage records, and daily vehicle inspections.
Keep your truck clean, safe, and DOT compliant.
What We're Looking For
Someone comfortable with the physical side of the work. You'll be lifting, loading, and moving product throughout the shift, not just sitting behind the wheel.
Time behind the wheel of a 24-foot box truck with a lift gate, or comparable delivery experience.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
A team player who works well with store and commissary staff.
Able to pass a background check.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday year-round, and able to step up to about 5 days a week including some Saturdays from mid-November through Christmas.
