Role Description
The Facilities Maintenance Director is an on-site, Mon-Friday full-time role based in Platteville, WI. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and repair needs of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Daily responsibilities include managing facility systems, coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising staff, and addressing urgent repair needs. The position also involves implementing facility improvements and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead, manage, and train maintenance staff effectively
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Maintenance & Repair, Carpentry, and general building systems
- Proficiency in Facility Management (FM) practices, including systems management and operational planning
- Experience in Maintenance Management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility environment
- Relevant certifications or technical training in facility maintenance are a plus
