Position: PT Housekeeping Aide

Essential Functions

Housekeeping Duties

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and common areas
• Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them properly
• Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the facility
  
  

Basic Maintenance Support

• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep, including:
• Fixing closet doors
• Snaking toilets
• Hanging pictures
• Helping with flood clean-up
• Assembling simple furniture (e.g., items ordered online)
  
  

General Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Adhere to all federal, state, and professional regulations
  
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.
• Ability to be patient and polite
