As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team and contribute to the health and happiness of our residents.
Position: Part-Time Activity Assistant
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Pay: $13.25/HR
The Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.
Job functions will include:
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
- Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
- Help design programs to encourage socialization
- Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
- Prepare and maintain reports on resident's progress
- Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
- Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation

- Ability to be imaginative, creative, and innovative
- Musical/ arts crafts experience preferred
