Prior Supervisory Experience Preferred. This Position
- Shares responsibility for processing new admissions, updating providers, order processing, assisting other nursing staff as needed, staffing, and other duties as directed.
- Manages infection control tracking, audits, monitoring lab results, and a variety of other tasks that may arise based on audits and trends of infections in the facility working closely with the Director of Nursing.
- Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
- Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
- Participates as a member of the facility’s nursing leadership team.
- Understands the need for confidentiality regarding both staff and resident concerns.
- RN License with current Wisconsin licensure required.
- 3 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living setting, preferred.
- Certified as an Infection Control Preventionist as required by the state or has experience with Infection Control.
- Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment required.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to document the very specific details with accuracy.

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
