Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, dredge equipment, and other machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop repair plans.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery to replace parts or make repairs.
- Use hand and power tools to perform mechanical work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with pumps or dredge equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
