DESCRIPTION
- Provide expert support to the project team in planning and implementing assembly equipment and systems.
- Coordinate onsite preparation activities for final assembly projects, ensuring readiness and alignment with project timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including general contractors, to ensure effective communication and execution.
- Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all project processes, plans, and implementation activities. Support coordination and control of multiple assembly planning activities across cross-functional teams.
- Oversee and support conveyor system planning, installation, and integration within the assembly environment.
- Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly equipment and workflows.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, completeness, and compliance standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Automotive design engineer, Industrial engineer, Mechanical engineer or related.
- Proven experience in final assembly projects, particularly in onsite preparation and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and site coordination within manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Experience coordinating multiple activities within assembly planning and project environments.
- Solid understanding of plant engineering processes, including equipment installation and commissioning.
- Experience with assembly equipment and conveyor-related project processes.
- Strong expertise in automation systems, including PLCs and corporate/industry standards (e.g., VASS6).
- Systems: JIRA, KVS, Cofluence
- Knowledge of SMDS systems and functionality.
- English B2-C1.
- German A2 (desirable).
- 6 month temporary contract in Blythewood, SC.
