In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. Responsibilities:- After unloading the dishwasher, return utensils and plates to their proper locations
- Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily
- Ensure appropriate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies while also keeping track of dishwashing machine mechanical problems
- Scrape plates, sort dishes, and rinse glassware before putting them in the dishwasher to be cleaned
- Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols
- Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
- In good physical condition with excellent health
