Position Summary
Professional Development Specialist (Nursing) inspires professional nurses through human connections, innovation and experiential learning, utilizing evidence-based practice with the goal of advancing the mission of ECU Health.
Responsibilities
Participate in program planning and/or serve as Nurse Planner for nursing continuing professional development.
Develop and evaluate core curricula.
Assess learning needs.
Lead experiential learning activities through innovative teaching and learning methods.
Validates clinical performance.
Develop, implement and evaluate teaching and learning experiences to continuously improve quality, experience, finance, well-being, and equity and inclusion outcomes.
Establish effective communication networks with unit and organization leadership.
Minimum Requirements
MSN in Nursing Education or MSN with Postmasters Certificate in Education is required- or higher.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of North Carolina.
Professional Development Specialist-Nursing will be required to obtain Nursing Professional Development Certification within 3 years.
3 years to 5 years in clinical practice with evidence of clinical knowledge, leadership, and teaching.
Pay Range
$75857.60 - $110567.60
