Position Summary
The Experience Catalyst position assists in advancing ECU Health's mission, vision and values by providing operational, logistical and administrative support for ECU Health Marketing & Communications (MarComm) experience-initiatives. This role reports to and supports the Manager, Experience Catalysts in coordinating projects, events, communications and data tracking that enhance team member, patient, family and community experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning, coordination and execution of MarComm experience-focused initiatives, events and campaigns.
Support communication efforts by preparing drafts, managing distribution lists and updating experience-related channels and tools.
Track project milestones, timelines and deliverables using project management software and tracking tools.
Provide research, scheduling and documentation support for experience strategy meetings and workshops.
Maintain organized records of experience initiatives, including metrics, feedback and post-event reports.
Support the Appreciation Portal by monitoring the designated email inbox, reviewing incoming help requests, and ensuring timely follow-up or escalation as needed.
Help design and execute MarComm experience-driven events such as recognition ceremonies, training sessions and engagement programs.
Support planning and execution of ECU Health's Appreciation of Excellence Gala and ECU Health Week.
Coordinate logistics including venues, catering, audiovisual needs, materials and vendor communication.
Assist with event setup, registration and participant engagement during events.
Support inventory management and distribution of branded materials and recognition items.
Support scheduling and correspondence for experience meetings and events.
Assist processing purchase orders and track status of payments
Maintain accurate team member longevity data and assist with recognition award preparation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in event planning, project coordination, communications or customer service.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities at once.
Other Information
We are looking for someone who has experience in planning, coordination and execution of events and campaigns; can help design and execute MarComm experience-driven events such as recognition ceremonies, training sessions and engagement programs; and possesses excellent time management, organizational and project management skills.
Full time position
Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
