We are excited to announce current staffing and leadership opportunities with The Fusion Experience for our two dynamic summer programs. Join our non-profit organization focused on academic and youth engagement, offering rewarding experiences where you can help shape the lives of campers through leadership and teamwork.

The Fusion Experience is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the generational gap between youth and senior citizens. We are an academic and youth engagement summer camp, offering interactive classes in STEM, the Arts, and Leadership. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team for the 2026 season!

This 4-week academic day camp runs Monday–Friday from June 29th through July 24th in Raleigh, NC. Staff are key to facilitating interactive classes such such as Mathematics, Robotics, Dance, Theatre, Public Speaking, and Stem.

Dates: June 29 – July 24, 2026 (Monday - Friday)

Location: Martin Street Baptist Church, 1001 E Martin St, Raleigh, NC 27601

• Camp Director: Manages daily operations, staff leadership, and curriculum. Includes a personal office and a supportive team environment. Compensation: $600 weekly stipend.
• Summer Counselor: Manages at least one core class and one elective, mentoring campers and guiding daily routines. Compensation: $400 weekly stipend.
• Camp Cook / Kitchen Manager: Oversees high-volume meal preparation (75 people) and ensures strict food safety compliance. Compensation: Stipend pay.
• Junior Counselor (11th-12th Grade): Assists in classes and supports camp wide activities. Provides up to 160 documented service hours. Compensation: $150.00 per week stipend.
• Internships (Administrative, Classroom, or Theatre): Support specific operational or creative needs while fulfilling degree requirements. Benefits: 160 documented service hours.

This week-long, immersive overnight experience at Keyauwee Program Center in Sophia, NC, runs from August 2–9, 2026. The program focuses on youth development through leadership workshops and outdoor adventures like Archery, Boating, Rock Climbing, and Swimming.

• Away Camp Counselor: Manages cabins and leads outdoor workshops. Includes lodging and all meals. Compensation: stipend.
• Kitchen Manager: Prepares 21 meals across the retreat and manages sanitation. Includes lodging and meals. Compensation: Paid stipend.
• Medical Assistant: Manages medical data, administers medication, and provides first aid. Compensation: Paid stipend.
• Junior Counselor (Ages 16 ): Assists in leadership workshops and outdoor adventures. Includes lodging and meals. Compensation: stipend.
