What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Endpoint Administrator position at ECS Corporate Services, LLC?
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support desktop systems based on customer service requests
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid system failures
- Develop and implement machine life cycle policy
- Set user access rights and permissions
- Maintain computers printers, and other software and hardware peripherals
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate support teams for resolutions
- Perform repairs and replacements of software and hardware peripherals
- Provide job training to new hires as needed
- Provide assistance to other IT Operations staff when requested
- Perform failure analysis and determine corrective action plans
- Plan and execute allotted work within deadlines and maintain records of daily tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation for system installations, configurations, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities
- Inspects personal computer equipment and reads order sheet listing user requirements to prepare a computer for delivery
- Installs, changes, and repairs minor problems of personal computer hardware and software systems, and gives technical assistance and training to system users
- Maintain Microsoft Intune configuration and compliance profiles for computers and mobile devices
- Requires excellent working knowledge of personal computers and peripherals
- Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises, following design or installation specifications
- Replaces defective or inadequate software packages
- Manage Windows device updates via Microsoft Intune
- Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
- Communicate with equipment vendors to ensure device enrollment in AutoPilot programs for Intune (Microsoft/Verizon/Samsung)
- Conduct technical and administrative tasks related to account management
- Assist in maintaining company's information technology accounts
- Mobile Phone Management
- Ordering of equipment (SHI/Amazon/etc.)
- Monitor IT Purchases
- Invoice Processing
- Maintain licenses and update schedules
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1 year of related experience
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Ability to effectively organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reasoning and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to work in stressful circumstances and handle all types of personalities and levels of authority
- Desire to learn and implement new technologies
- Dependable and detail-oriented
