Description
SAIC is searching for a Power Platform Administrator to join our team in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our Microsoft Power Platform applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage all components of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI, through the centralized Power Platform admin center.
- Implement and enforce governance policies to control data access, manage security, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Oversee the deployment lifecycle of applications, manage environments, and ensure proper licensing structures are in place.
- Monitor platform usage, dataset refresh schedules, and report performance metrics to optimize resource allocation and ensure optimal performance.
- Provide support to users, cultivate the user community, and deliver training to help them utilize the platform effectively.
- Coordinate the integration of Power Platform components and leverage tools like PowerShell to automate management tasks.
- Lead governance efforts for AI features, such as Copilot Studio, to ensure responsible use and promote innovation.
- Generate reports on platform usage, adoption, and performance to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Required skills and experience
- Associates' degree with 7 years of progressive IT experience.
- Proficiency with the Power Platform admin center, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and environments. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services like Azure AD and Exchange is often required.
- Experience with administration, security, and governance of low-code platforms and a proven ability to manage deployments and monitor performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and support users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with scripting (like PowerShell), and some familiarity with pro-code technologies like C#, .NET, JavaScript, or SQL can be beneficial.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and networking fundamentals is often necessary.
