Warehouse Specialist - Event Setup and Teardown

Position Tasks & Activities:

• Will provide training for the right candidate.

• Follow direction of Crew Leader during setup/teardown.
• Growth opportunities available.

• Assist loading and unloading trucks of event equipment with care.

• Secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.

• Assist in delivery, set up, takedown and pick up of equipment.

• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records according to company procedures.

• Setup Pipe and Drape, Tents, Tables, Chairs, Charger Plates, Table Linens, etc.

• Cleaning and Maintaining equipment.

Working Conditions:

May be exposed to the general range of weather experienced in the area. Hours are dependent on scheduled deliveries and pick ups including weekends. Must be able to work both weekends, weekdays and holidays. Stooping, crouching, bending, lifting, lowering, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, carting and carrying are intermittent tasks that routinely occur.

Education, Skills & Requirements:

• Have your own reliable transportation, Driver's License Preferred.

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required.

• Must be able to lift approximately 75 lbs.

• Must maintain a professional personal appearance and work attitude.

• Must be able to use a hand truck/dolly to move around equipment(tents, tables, chairs, furniture).

• Must pass company drug/alcohol screen. Drug and Alcohol free work environment.

• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. Call outs or no shows unacceptable. You must show up ON TIME for shifts.

• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers and clients.

• Training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Must have good work ethic.

• Ideally (but not required) will have experience working in the event industry.

• Good customer service skills and communication with the client.
