What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at Econosoft?
Seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery for a client in the retirement and wealth management space. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile teams, remove delivery blockers, and ensure effective Scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and help teams deliver sprint commitments.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum practices.
- Track sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement and effective Agile delivery.
Required Skills:
- 6 years of Scrum Master experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with retirement, wealth management, financial services, or investment products is a must
- Strong knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and sprint planning.
- Experience with Jira or similar Agile tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
