What you’ll do
- Welcome guests with a warm smile and assist them with check-ins and check-outs
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy
- Manage multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls efficiently
- Provide excellent guest services by resolving issues and fulfilling requests promptly
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and incidents during your shift
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the night
- Conduct security checks of the property to ensure guest safety and comfort
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and financial reporting is a plus
- Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to hotel operations
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests
