- Enters production data accurately into the warehouse management system
- Completes cycle counts regularly and manages inventory for the Production department
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping purposes
- Tracks departmental data and generates applicable reports as needed
- Recommends, implements, and promotes measures to improve departmental productivity and efficiencies, product quality, methods and working conditions to minimize downtown. Follows TPM/continuous improvement principles
- Proactively communicates maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality, or productivity to the appropriate functional/department leader
- Assists in training teammates
- Communicates verbally and/or in writing with others
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Plant location: Joliet, IL
- Work week and shift: 2PM - 10PM Monday to Friday
- Compensation: Hourly, starting at $25 / hour
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Immigration Sponsorship not available for this opportunity
- Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Previous experience using SAP
- Experience with inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- Collaborative and team-orientated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Good time-management and communication skills
