Ecobrite is searching for highly energetic individuals who have a well-rounded business mindset. We are currently hiring a Sales Representative for Kentucky and Tennessee (Bluegrass Area) in the janitorial industry.

This is a remote position, and your primary responsibilities will include securing service contracts and building strong customer relationships. Working in our fast-paced and ever-changing sales office will provide an excellent opportunity for career growth in the industrial services business.

What will you be doing?

  • Research, seek out, and generate new contract opportunities through proactive sales efforts and database research, aiming to maximize revenue and exceed lead generation goals.
  • Represent the company in developing market segments and establishing new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones.
  • Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current, and future janitorial and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to generate maximum lead revenue and achieve sales goals.

Position Summary

This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. You should have a deep understanding of customer needs and be able to apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate, and secure new revenue for the company.

  • Customer and Account Management: Use your sales skills to create customer value, differentiate Ecobrite from the competition, and bring clear value to customers and their organizations.
  • Prospecting: Master the prospecting process by identifying potential customers, preparing effective call strategies, and adapting to a changing market.
  • Negotiations: Understand customer expectations and adapt to a changing market while negotiating contracts and commission agreements.

As a Team Member in this role, your responsibilities will include:

Customer And Account Management

  • Work closely with Ecobrite Managers to retain existing customers and acquire new business.
  • Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls and bid applications.
  • Create and communicate a monthly, quarterly, and annual business plan for the designated market.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of business opportunities that align with short- and long-term objectives.
  • Represent the company in all sales-related interactions, including creating business proposals and executing contracts.
  • Conduct site inspections, engaging prospective and existing customers based on their individual needs.
  • Coordinate customer specifications using the lead management system and maintain relevant information in the company's software and databases.

Prospecting

  • Research, solicit, and generate new leads for business opportunities through proactive sales efforts and database research, with the goal of maximizing revenue and exceeding lead generation goals.
  • Create and execute plans to gain market share from competitors.
  • Engage in outside sales activities to identify needs, build relationships, and win new business.

Negotiations

  • Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries.
  • Provide solutions that align with the company's financial goals while strengthening customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Ecobrite's management and Legal offices to support the contracting process when needed.

Experience

  • High school diploma required; college degree in Business with a emphasis in Sales or Marketing preferred (other college degrees accepted with management approval).
  • One to five years of sales experience in commercial accounts.
  • Experience in the janitorial or services industry is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to understand customer needs through effective communication and convert those needs into sales.
  • Proficiency in routine business math calculations, including sales cost computation in comparison with other janitorial service providers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Office experience.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Competitive spirit and a passion for servicing and satisfying clients.
  • Persistent and tenacious approach.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and get involved.
  • Integrity and commitment to delivering on promises.
  • Consultative sales approach, including multiple customer interactions before closing a sale.
  • Hunter and closer mentality.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle with insurance.
