We are seeking talented and experienced professionals for the position of Restaurant & Bar Manager. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about all things in this industry and has a proven history of managing staff and a high level of customer service excellence. This position requires someone who can efficiently run both a bar, gaming, and restaurant, as well as effectively communicate with staff, customers, vendors and owner.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interview and hire new staff members.
- Trains new hires and oversees ongoing training for all staff members.
- Creates work schedules for proper staffing.
- Manages timekeeping records.
- Supervise staff to ensure tavern and restaurant are kept clean and presentable.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversees the day-to-day workflow of tavern and restaurant property.
Builds unity and morale among staff, promoting a positive environment and high standards of customer service by all employees, enabling all team members to work together.
Present a professional manner at all times with team members, guests, and vendors.
Ensure all tavern practices and services are in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, policies, and best practices.
Manages inventory and orders beverages, food, and supplies.
Conducts daily inspection of equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Comply with company operation rules, regulations and procedures.
Maintains awareness of tavern and restaurant safety conditions and procedures. Reports any concerns to Director of Tavern Operations.
Ensures staff adheres to cleanliness and safe working conditions in all areas.
Maintain extensive knowledge of forecasting and accounting in the food and beverage department.
Organize and oversees the staff work schedules.
Handle team member counseling, problem-solving, and terminations while working closely with Human Resources.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position.
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meet the company's guest service culture standards.
Full-time position working a scheduled 40 hours a week on a schedule agreed to with the Director of Tavern Operations. Additional hours may be required for special events or to cover shifts. Work schedule allows some flexibility to meet regular operation schedules and special events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3 years of previous tavern and restaurant management experience.
Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.
Extensive knowledge of forecasting, accounting, and managerial in the food and beverage department. Including high volume Food & Beverage industry experience.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and co-workers; pleasant personality, team-oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people.
Basic computer skills, including computer literacy in working with a point-of-sale software system.
Available to be on call 24/7
At least 21 years of age
Obtain and actively maintain all work cards as required by the company.
Verify right to work in the United States
For conducting company business needs:
Valid Driver's License
Provide a 3-year DMV driving report
Provide proof of active auto insurance policy

Physical Requirements
· Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels, and over head

· Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color, and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
