Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.00 per hour
Shift: Second Shift: Monday to Saturday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and team environment.
-Reports any foreign object found in products, materials or near the area to the supervisor and team leader.
-Maintains and establishes effective working relationships.
-Must be willing to perform different tasks or multiple tasks throughout the shift as assigned by the team leader or supervisor
-Ability to organize, prioritize and own multiple tasks while meeting and exceeding deadlines.
-Performs line pre-op inspections and assemble the machine equipment.
-Set-up, adjusts, monitors, and performs general operating maintenance on Hayssen and other line equipment used to mix and package salads; Documents and records when work is done on equipment.
-Ensures finished products meet quality specifications by accurately conducting online quality checks and sampling as follows in KipTraq: Performs leaker checks, weight checks, metal detection and finished package integrity, oxygen levels, and date checks as required. *Additional checks may be added.
-Documents and tracks film data throughout the course of a shift per requirement frequencies.
-Retrieves samples as needed.
-Assists line packaging workers to ensure successful line operations, job order fulfillments, and proper completion of the orders according to order schedule sheets.
-Ensures all required production paperwork is completed.
-Demonstrates initiative and strong interpersonal, communication and team skills.
-Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards
-Teaching other to perform certain required tasks
-Remove defective products, placing them on a container

- Work under the direction of the Production Team Leader
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Follow food safety, quality, and safety procedures (GMPs, PPE, HACCP)
- Report safety issues and near misses to promote a safe environment culture

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
-Ability to speak, read, and write in English; bilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and accurately complete forms
- Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, counting, multiplying, and dividing
- Intermediate reasoning skills with the ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to kneel, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or with accommodation
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated, cold/wet environment (approximately 38°F)
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to work professionally and courteously in a diverse, team-oriented environment
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
- Willingness to be trained on the safe operation of production equipment, including vacuum sealers, tape machines, cable cutters, and food-grade knives
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and employment history check
