Job Title: Solution Engineer
We are looking for a Solution Engineer to support the implementation and integration of our account galaxy and token galaxy products with customers, partners, and financial institutions. This role will act as the bridge between customers, implementation teams, and product development.
The Solution Engineer will be responsible for explaining product features, Open API definitions, integration flows, and technical capabilities to customers. The role will also involve supporting customers throughout their integration journey, identifying product gaps, documenting requirements, and coordinating with the product development team to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the company’s account galaxy and token galaxy products, features, configurations, workflows, and technical capabilities.
- Explain product functionality, integration options, and Open API specifications to customers.
- Guide customers during the end-to-end integration process, including API understanding, request/response formats, authentication, error handling, and testing.
- Conduct solution walkthroughs, integration discussions, and technical clarification sessions with customer technology teams.
- Analyze customer requirements and map them against existing product capabilities.
- Identify requirement gaps, integration challenges, or missing product functionality.
- Document customer-specific requirements, use cases, integration flows, and gap analysis.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and implementation teams.
- Work closely with the product development team to communicate enhancement requests and clarify expected functionality.
- Support troubleshooting during integration, UAT, certification, and go-live phases.
- Review API documentation, implementation guides, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Help improve customer-facing documentation, integration guides, API references, and onboarding materials.
- Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer integration experience.
- Participate in product demos, technical discovery calls, and implementation planning discussions.
Required Skills and Experience
- 6 years of experience in Deposit Account products, banking systems, fintech platforms, or financial technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of APIs, especially REST/Open APIs.
- Ability to read and explain API specifications, request/response payloads, HTTP methods, status codes, and error messages.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java-based applications and enterprise software architecture.
- Understanding of integration concepts such as authentication, authorization, webhooks, file-based integrations, API gateways, and message formats.
- Ability to translate customer business requirements into technical and product requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with product development, QA, implementation, and customer teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify product gaps and clearly communicate them to development and product teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Virtual Account Management, Card solutions
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Jira, Confluence, SQL, logs, and API testing tools.
- Understanding of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, databases, and cloud-based application environments.
- Experience supporting customer onboarding, API certification, UAT, and production go-live.
- Knowledge of compliance, security, and audit considerations in payment systems.
