Overview
Winmill is seeking an experienced Presales ValueOps Solutions Engineer to join our Winmill PPM team, supporting enterprise clients in evaluating and adopting Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) and Agile solutions.
This role is responsible for leading discovery, designing and delivering tailored product demonstrations, and guiding clients toward scalable solutions using Broadcom Clarity PPM, Rally, and related tools such as Smartsheet and Planview solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in PPM and Agile with the ability to translate business challenges into compelling technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering
Lead functional and technical discovery sessions to understand client portfolio management practices, Agile maturity, and business challenges
Design and configure tailored demo environments aligned to client use cases
Deliver customized product demonstrations for Broadcom, Clarity PPM, Rally, and related solutions (e.g., Smartsheet, Planview tools)
Record and manage demo assets for reuse and continuous improvement
Support implementation scoping, including effort estimation and solution alignment
Provide technical and functional insight to support sales strategy and client engagement
Solution Design & Documentation
Translate discovery findings into business requirements, solution designs, and recommendations
Develop and contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting documentation
Clearly articulate how proposed solutions address client business problems and deliver value
Maintain documentation for discovery, demos, and proposed solutions
Client Engagement & Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor early in the customer evaluation process
Provide thought leadership in PPM and Agile transformation, including frameworks such as SAFe, Lean, and Scrum
Partner with clients to align solutions with their strategic goals and operating models
Conduct periodic client check-ins as needed to support ongoing engagement alongside Account Managers
Internal Collaboration & Enablement
Collaborate with Sales, Technical Products, Delivery, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across the customer lifecycle
Support marketing initiatives including webinars, content creation, and events
Enable internal team members by sharing pre-sales best practices and solution knowledge
Support smooth transition from sales to implementation teams
Technology & Environment Management
Own and maintain demo environments, configurations, and access management across the ValueOps practice
Stay current with new product releases and capabilities across Broadcom, Planview, and related platforms
Maintain and obtain pre-sales certifications for Broadcom, Planview (including E1 and Clarizen), and other relevant tools
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a technology, business, or related field
5 years of experience with PPM and/or Agile management solutions
Hands-on experience with Broadcom Clarity PPM and familiarity with Rally (Agile Central)
Experience delivering software demonstrations and client presentations
Strong understanding of PPM processes, Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Lean), and enterprise use cases
Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with Smartsheet, Planview, Clarizen, or similar PPM tools
Experience in a pre-sales or solutions engineering role
Exposure to enterprise-scale implementations and client environments
Relevant product certifications (Broadcom, Planview, etc.)
