Position Overview:
Highly experienced Scrum Master to support complex IT initiatives, drive Agile maturity, and manage delivery across multiple teams and priorities.
Operate at both the team and program level, ensuring alignment, predictability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate within Scrum while managing a hybrid Agile delivery model (Scrum + non-Scrum)
Execute on prioritized work handed off by Product owner
Ensure alignment, coordination, and delivery across teams and dependencies
Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective)
Drive Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles
Remove impediments and proactively manage risks/issues
Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlog
Track and report on delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.)
Coordinate across multiple teams, stakeholders, and dependencies
Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile mindset and maturity
Support release planning and roadmap execution
Ensure transparency and communication across leadership and delivery teams
Required Qualifications:
8–12+ years in IT delivery, with 5+ years as a Scrum Master
Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent)
Proven experience operating in complex enterprise environments, including pharma-regulated settings
Experience in program-level or portfolio-level Agile delivery
Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent Agile teams
Experience with large-scale Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar)
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience working with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, DevOps, UX, Product)
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments
Experience in Pharmaceutical
Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP) is a plus. EM will consider comparable experience.
Background in technical roles (developer, QA, architect) is a plus
Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Strong stakeholder management (including senior leadership)
Ability to manage competing priorities and shifting timelines
Data-driven mindset (metrics, reporting, continuous improvement)
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, executive-level)
Pay Rate: $78.33-$83.08/Hour
