What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sewing Machine Operator position at Echod Graphics Inc?
Echod Graphics is seeking hard working, organized, and detail oriented individuals with sewing skills capable of operating industrial sewing machines/sergers as well as cutting, hand sewing and quality control. Having the ability to perform maintenance on the sewing machines is a plus, but not required. At least two years experience in the operation of any industrial sewing machinery is preferred.
Essential Requirements:
- Basic math skills (measuring, use of calculator, etc.)
- Keep work area clean, safe and secure.
- Follow all quality assurance procedures, including verification of job instructions, setup, quality and integrity of printed pieces throughout run.
- Independently and proficiently perform mechanical adjustments and simple operator maintenance.
- Must be willing to read and understand machine operation manuals as necessary.
- Report all mechanical issues to manager in a timely manner.
- Proven experience working in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Good punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to read work orders and project requirements in english
