Social Media Content Creator

Job Description

Echo Marketing Agency is looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Organic Social Media Content Creator to support our client work across real estate and lifestyle brands. This is strictly organic content creation – no paid ads, media buying, or performance marketing.

You’ll be responsible for creating visually engaging content that fosters connections, drives engagement, and accurately reflects each brand’s identity across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

There will be times when creator will need to visit client on-site in cities such as Irvine, Santa Clarita, San Diego, etc. Southern California-based freelancer preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create organic content (posts, reels covers, carousels, stories) for social platforms
• Use Canva (or Adobe tools) to produce on-brand, visually compelling assets
• Write strong captions and social copy tailored to the brand voice and target audience
• Follow content calendars and meet weekly delivery deadlines
• Stay up to date on trends and apply them creatively to client content
• Collaborate with our internal team to align creative with strategy

Design Requirements:

• Strong grasp of design fundamentals: layout, color, spacing, typography, and hierarchy
• Canva proficiency required; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Ability to keep content brand-consistent while introducing creative flair
• Bonus: Show us a portfolio of past work, especially in real estate, beauty, or lifestyle

Bonus Skills:

• Short-form video editing (Reels/TikToks) using CapCut, InShot, or similar
• Experience working with service-based or visual-first brands (real estate, salons, wellness, etc.)

Role Details:

• Freelance / Hybrid
• Flexible hours with structured weekly deadlines
• Compensation: Per project or monthly freelance retainer, depending on scope
