Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications, to perform inspections on a variety of products including hose assemblies and government kits
- Use measurement tools to determine compliance with the hose order specifications and quality control standards
- Review all paperwork done by Production staff, to ensure correct components were used to build hose orders
- Label all completed orders, while simultaneously cross-checking paperwork again for accuracy
- Maintain records and documentation of the quality activities, assuring accuracy
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Prior machine shop experience is preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and good math skills required
- Ability to interact well with various departments within the organization
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook
