Senior Wealth Advisor | Chicago (Hybrid)
The Senior Wealth Advisor at this multi-generational private family office plays a key role in guiding sophisticated clients through complex financial, investment, and estate planning strategies. This position involves managing high-net-worth relationships, leading financial planning initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams and external advisors to deliver comprehensive wealth solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with family clients and related entities
- Lead client meetings and presentations, both in-person and virtually
- Mentor and develop junior advisors and associates
- Analyze trusts, business agreements, and estate planning scenarios
- Prepare financial plans, cash flow projections, and coordinate tax and compliance activities
- Facilitate complex transactions, including gifting, capital calls, and distributions
- Collaborate with banks, investment managers, accountants, attorneys, and other professional advisors
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in financial advisory, family office, or wealth management
- Strong technical knowledge of investments, tax, estate, and financial planning
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- High standards of professionalism, discretion, and client service
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with financial planning and CRM software
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or professional certifications (CFP®, CPA, JD) preferred
