Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated K–2nd Grade Teacher to join our homeschool program. The ideal candidate is passionate about early elementary education, skilled in multi-grade teaching, and comfortable working in a small, family-centered learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (literacy, math, science, and social studies)
- Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs and learning styles
- Maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to parents
- Support enrichment opportunities (STEM, arts, dual language, outdoor learning, etc.)
- Collaborate with parents to reinforce learning and growth at home
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months classroom teaching experience (K–2 preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (Associate’s with strong experience may be considered)
- Knowledge of early literacy and math development
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a homeschool setting
- Must pass background check and meet state requirements
