Position Responsibilities:
As a Salesforce Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the full migration from an on-premises legacy platform to Salesforce Sales Cloud. You will collaborate with both internal business stakeholders and an external implementation partner to ensure the configuration, integration, and rollout of Salesforce aligns with business objectives and best practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and support end-to-end migration from a legacy system to Salesforce Sales Cloud, ensuring all business requirements are documented and met with precision.
- Partner closely with the Salesforce implementation vendor to validate technical configurations, customizations, data migration, and functional QA efforts.
- Act as the technical liaison between internal stakeholders and the implementation partner, guaranteeing solutions follow best practices and are positioned for the long-term business roadmap.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage deployment activities, and drive a coordinated rollout of Salesforce across different business units.
- Provide light project management support—tracking timelines, maintaining thorough documentation, communicating statuses to all stakeholders, and coordinating cross-functional efforts.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the Salesforce roadmap, planning for future enhancements and integrations with internal systems.
- Utilize your hands-on knowledge of Salesforce administration and development—including objects, permissions, automation, and basic familiarity with Apex—to advise on technical decisions.
- Support and optimize integrations between Salesforce and other business-critical internal systems.
- Learn and document the full sales cycle, translating sales process and contract workflow requirements into actionable plans for technical teams.
- Work directly with contract workflows managed in Salesforce and DocuSign, ensuring proper document routing, signatures, and process automation.
- Troubleshoot technical or process issues, escalate concerns to appropriate teams, and drive initiatives to enhance user adoption and support end-user training.
- Effectively collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into detailed specifications for technical implementation.
Essential Skills, Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud in a technical, functional, or implementation-focused role.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, automation, and basic development concepts (data modeling, objects, permissions).
- Proven ability to support or lead system migrations and platform upgrades, including planning, testing, and validation phases.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills; able to bridge the gap between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of system integrations and familiarity with API concepts.
- Understanding of sales processes and contract workflows, with ability or willingness to quickly master intricate business requirements.
- Capable of working onsite as required and comfortable in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce Administrator, or other Salesforce certifications, are a strong plus.
- Experience with DocuSign workflows, templates, and Salesforce integrations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools is a plus.
- General awareness of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and APIs preferred.
- Exposure to project management tools or methodologies is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a vendor-facing technical analyst or business analyst role highly desirable.
If you are a technically savvy Salesforce professional eager to play a key role in a large-scale migration and enable transformative sales operations within a collaborative hybrid workplace, we encourage you to apply!
