Ecco Ride provides student transportation in Chester County, TN. We are currently seeking a Terminal Manager for this location.
Job Description
- Providing effective leadership to the Customer Service Center Team (Drivers, Monitors, Dispatchers, and Mechanics)
- Maintaining a strong safety culture and monitoring safety processes/training
- Leading the daily operations (driver, routing, and vehicle activities) necessary to ensure employee and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Company policies/procedures and local, state, and federal regulations
- Establishing and achieving performance goals that are in alignment with Company objectives
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality customer service and maintaining/enhancing customer relationships
- Meeting regularly with school district administrators to review and enhance service quality and performance
- Delivering excellent financial performance
- Resolving a variety of issues and making recommendations
- Have a proven record of successfully supervising others
- Ensuring continuous improvement in the areas of safety, operations, finance, etc.
Preferred Experience
- 5 or more years of operations and management experience in the transportation industry
- Strong results-oriented leadership skills with proven success in management
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and employee relations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and transportation related software
- Knowledge of contract administration principles and practices
- Budgetary/fiscal control experience
- Policy administration experience
- Ability to build trust and have strong verbal and written communication with all levels, both inside and outside the organization
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and organizational skills
- Well-developed time-management skills
- Ability to be adaptable and work independently with a high degree of integrity
