What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Server position at ecco/project?
The ecco/project from James Beard award-winning chef Spike Gjerde (Woodberry Kitchen, La Jetée, Bar Dali) is approaching an exciting opening of an all day Mediterranean cafe featuring the best ingredients grown from regenerative farms in our region. Cafe Terracotta will open early May in a brand new building on the Monument St corridor, bring healthy, local sourced food to the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
We are looking for baristas and servers to join our team of hospitality professionals looking to make an impact on the local environment and economy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve guests with warmth and care in a counter service environment including placing guest orders and preparing espresso beverages according to established specs.
- Work closely with teammates to deliver the best possible experience for cafe guests and help make the cafe a destination within the Hospital campus.
- Some hospitality experience is required for cafe server roles, and least 1 year of barista experience in an independent coffee shop environment is required for barista roles
