Summary: This position is responsible for independently supporting and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and the ability to meet manufacturing schedules and growth targets.
Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following:
- Lead development and optimization of new and existing production processes to improve efficiency, capacity, and cost.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and quality issues.
- Develop and implement process flows, layouts, and line strategies for new or transferred production lines.
- Play a lead technical role in supplier evaluation including capability assessment, tolerances, and tooling design review.
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CIP) and Lean initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Coordinate and drive updates to process documentation and standardization efforts.
- Lead capital equipment selection, implementation, and validation activities.
- Provide technical guidance to entry – level engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Use required software tools including SAP, CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
MRPII-related (SAP) activities this position supports include:
- Process routing ownership and optimization
- Capacity planning and line balancing
- Work center cost and performance analysis
Recommended Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; or minimum 5–10 years related experience; or a combination of the two.
Strong knowledge of Lean principles and manufacturing systems (preferred).
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
