Job: Project Manager - Construction
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

The Project Manager is a critical position for the success of our projects. We need an individual with an organizational mindset, solid time management, a team player, and someone who is good under pressure while balancing multiple tasks at one time. This exceptionally talented individual must possess top-tier skills, be tech-savvy, and have an insatiable thirst for ongoing learning and knowledge expansion.
Essential duties include:
Pre Construction
- Lead the pre-construction phase of projects you will own from beginning to end
- Create Scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for projects
- Prepare and coordinate plans, design, and engineering for projects per the pre-construction timeline expectations
- Communicate with the clients weekly via PM software
- Responsible for project timelines and submissions
Construction:
- Lead and manage high complexity projects from beginning to end
- Maintain a solid line of communication at all times with clients, designer, architect, and our business
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Trade Partner communication/expectations and scheduling
- Track and manage the project's budget
- Work with teammates to ensure construction schedules are cohesive
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized job site throughout the duration of a project
- Create material take offs and order materials/deliver to job sites
- Proficiently use project management (PM) software, and technology for a project’s success
- Maintain great relationships with vendors and Trade Partners
- Stay up to date with building techniques, materials, and technology
- Oversee inspection schedules/call ins and maintain great relationships with inspectors
Position Overview
This position is responsible for ensuring a project’s success from beginning to end. As the main point of contact, from pre-construction through project completion, you will be communicating with our clients, design team, outside designers, architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, tradesmen/women, and inspectors. This position will ensure the highest level of craftsmanship is maintained throughout a project and the construction schedule is met or exceeded. It is Eberson Construction’s vision to give a world class construction experience, and this position delivers that during the building phase through exceptional communication and project management.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- 5 years experience in project management/superintendent position
- High level of construction and trades knowledge
- High computer proficiency
- Technical problem solving
- Read complex construction plans and product specifications
- Management and leadership of others
- Above par communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a desire to learn and take on new things
- Structural design and basic understanding
Preferred:
- Architecture/design/construction management degree
- Deep knowledge of building science
- Extensive project management experience
