Eberhard’s Dairy Products is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician with experience in food production, laboratory work, or dairy processing. This role supports daily testing, GMP compliance, and product quality in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. We offer paid training and stable full‑time work.
Key Responsibilities
Routine & Advanced Testing
Perform daily testing on raw milk, in‑process, and finished products. Tests include pH, fat/solids, temperature checks, and basic microbiological plating. Training provided for more advanced methods.
GMP‑Focused Work Habits
Follow written procedures (SOPs), maintain clean work areas, label samples correctly, and document results immediately. Support HACCP and food safety programs.
Equipment Use & Care
Operate and maintain pH meters, incubators, pipettes, and other lab tools. Perform simple calibrations and keep equipment logs up to date.
Quality Monitoring
Check product quality throughout production, communicate issues quickly, and help troubleshoot out‑of‑spec results with production teams.
Recordkeeping & Documentation
Complete logs, worksheets, and digital entries accurately. Keep documentation organized and ready for audits.
Environmental & Sanitation Checks
Perform environmental swabs, allergen checks, and sanitation verification as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or laboratory work preferred.
- Ability to follow step‑by‑step procedures and maintain clean work habits.
- Comfortable with basic math and routine testing.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening; we are a drug‑free workplace.
