We are looking for a Senior Chef at Trails of Orono. This culinary role is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and senior age resident expectations. Cook Position works on a team with Server/Culinary Assistants at our Wayzata, MN location. This culinary leader position schedule includes;
- 80 hours every two weeks
- 8 hour hour shifts
- Includes every other weekend and holiday rotations

Responsibilities Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Chef to join our team at Trails of Orono. This culinary role is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and senior age resident expectations. Cook Position works on a team with Server/Culinary Assistants at our Wayzata, MN location. This culinary leader schedule includes;
- 80 hours every two weeks
- Full time, Day/Early evening shift
- Includes every other weekend & holiday rotation

Responsibilities:
- Preparing meals by following standardized recipes
- Handling and preparing food safely, adhering to policies and infection control standards
- Ensuring timely meal production and service to residents
- Setting up line service
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work area after each use
- Assisting with special events
- Supporting the Culinary Director with staff supervision and training
- Supporing the Culinary Director with orders
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old
Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course and Certification (FSS) OR Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) (must obtain within first 90-days). Accept Food Sanitation Safety Course and Certification from the following companies:
- Serv Safe
- Always Food Safe
- TAP Series, LLC
- Advanced Health Institute
- One to three years of previous experience
- Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Food Service
- Cooking experience in a similar environment
- Scratch cooking experience
Qualifications
$21.58 - $30.23 / Hourly
