The Life Enrichment Assistant (Activities Assistant) role supports the planning and implementation of quality leisure/social events program designed to assist senior Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care residents in maintaining their personal potential physically, socially and mentally. This position includes:
- 80 hours every pay period:
- 8:30am-5:00pm
- Day shift hours
- Holidays as needed; Every other weekend

Responsibilities Job Description
- Coordinates leisure programs, activities, exercise classes, and special events for older adults in an assisted living residence
- Encourages resident participation, reports changes in residents mood and physical status
- Promotes independence and helps develop socialization
- May help escort residents to activities outside of senior living community
- Other duties as assigned by Activities Director
Qualifications
Required:
- One year of experience in similar role - working with older adults, leading activities, or working in therapy/recreation role
- Working knowledge of basic Microsoft application
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One to three years previous experience
