Location: Eau Claire Business Interiors
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

Eau Claire Business Interiors is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Furniture & Interiors Lead Installer to join our team. This position plays a key role in leading installation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
As a Lead Installer, you will oversee installation crews on job sites, help coordinate project execution, and serve as a primary company representative during installations. Projects include the installation of commercial office furniture, window treatments, lockers, and casework, so we’re looking for someone with strong installation knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to getting the job done right.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support installation crews on commercial installation projects
- Deliver, assemble, and install office furniture, workstations, window treatments, lockers, casework, and related components
- Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and to customer expectations
- Provide leadership and direction on job sites while maintaining a safe work environment
- Safely lift, move, and install heavy products (must be able to lift up to 100 lbs)
- Load and unload ECBI trucks for deliveries and installations
- Unpack products, receive freight shipments, and inspect items for damage
- Verify product quantities and materials by reconciling packing lists with purchase orders
- Communicate with ECBI team members to ensure products are received, tracked, and staged properly
- Read work orders and installation paperwork to plan and execute projects efficiently
- Drive company trucks to and from installation sites (CDL not required)
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of ECBI
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous furniture installation, construction, millwork, or related field experience preferred
- Experience installing window treatments, lockers, or casework is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions on job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools preferred
